There are 3 different types of cremation services for our Pawleys Island families to choose from at Burroughs Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

The most common is a traditional funeral service and cremation. This service consists of the visitation and funeral. The cremation will take place after the service and the cremated remains will be returned back to the family.

Much like a traditional funeral service, our second option is a memorial service with the urn present in place of a casket. Afterward, the family can take the remains home or they can bury them at the cemetery.

The third option, which does not involve any type of funeral service, is called a direct cremation, which is also known as "immediate cremation" or "simple cremation." The cremated remains are given to the family. Cremation costs start at $995.
